Plantar Fasciitis –
Plantar Fasciitis can affect individuals of any age. It causes a sharp pain in the bottom of the heel that is most often noticed at first step in the morning, or after periods of sitting down.
With prolonged activity it can cause aching or burning in the bottom of the heel.

Achilles Tendinopathy –
Pain is experienced at the back of the heel, and into the Achilles tendon. It can cause stiffness when beginning activity, and pain with prolonged activity.

Calcaneal Apophysitis (Severs) –
Calcaneal Apophysitis is the most common cause of heel pain in children. It is an irritation of the cartilage growth plate in the heel bone.
